Karsten Solheim, the founder of Ping, started the golfing company back in 1959 in his own Garage to design and manufacture golf clubs. Soon his putters became very well known and popular and Karsten resigned his day job to fully devote his time to manufacturing golf clubs. It was in 1967 that formed PING, this American golf company which has since then been very popular and has produced some of the most admired and wonderful golf equipment. He have the wonderful name PING to his company simply as the sound coming form hitting the ball.

The special CTP (Custom Tuning Port) technology provides more consistency. The Ping i10 has the traditional 12 colours code system, which represent different lie angle. If the player is taller, PING recommends the upright colour code, if the player is shorter, then the recommended code by PING is the flatter one.
